I woke up FAR too early today, 5:30? no idea why? it was nice though, there was a gentle cool rain falling and the 59 degree temperature made it even nicer.
I can only hope the rest of the day is as nice as the start, that would be great!
I should head off for now, coffee is calling me!

Two years
The first picture below is the one that took me two years to get, I just could NOT figure out what the problem was? the picture on the bottom is what I had taken and I just did NOT like it until I added the little chapel into the picture? go figure? apparently symmetry was not what was needed in this picture, a-symmetrical is good.
I walked around the edge of the lake taking pictures as I went, I was nearly all the way around when I FINALLY found the right angle for the picture? and YES! I can be WAY O.C. about the pictures I take.

The Friday and Saturday at the church lake was much too fun, I hope as I said to be there once again very soon, I will make sure to take my camera and a few sets of extra batteries with me also. I went through two sets of batteries in one day alone, so I will need PLENTY on hand.
It is time for me to once again disappear and find myself a cup of coffee!
Later for now!

Project Barvada
I hadn't blogged about this yet, but here it is! Project Bravada!
I picked this Bravada up from my cousin, it is a 1999 that had a "few" problems, at this point I have done a few things:
1. Had the transmission rebuilt $1700
2. Four new tires $300
3. Replaced both front wheel bearings $300
4. Four new shocks $116
5. both front stabilizer pins $22
6. A new battery $45
7. A new master cylinder* $75
8. A new door hinge pin and bushings* $5
9. Replaced the serpentine belt $40
*Not completed yet
I bought the Bravada KNOWING it had problems so I'm NOT complaining in any way, I did all but the tires and transmission myself which saved me a TON of money! the truck and the repairs have cost me a total of $3290 so far, a VERY good deal indeed. I have had it for nine weeks now and it has been a nice distraction so far, the interior still needs a bit of cleaning, but that is no biggie!
My Bravada is actually FUN to drive, I had a 1996 Chevy S10 before, and it was a fun vehicle to drive also, the Bravada is the same body style so I like it just as much, better yet it is AWD! COOL!
I'm hoping to complete the Bravada this weekend or during the fourth holiday, I'd love to see it done! I will have $3290 into a vehicle worth $5500! PLUS! it has all those new parts in it! COOL!
If I haven't said it yet, God is GOOD! God provided the vehicle and the ambition to repair it!
I should also mention that I would NOT have been able to get this Bravada had I not sold the second vehicle I had, and the "stimulus" check I received helped in a BIG way also, it would not be near finished otherwise.
It is time to head off for now, coffee's calling!

Church campground 2
So here are a few more of the pictures I promised, the place is really cool, I hope to be there in the next few week’s!

Here is a picure of the cabins at the lake, this is one of the smaller one's that can be used, I hope to find a picture of the larger cabin, I MAY have one, just can't find it.

Every campground needs the little red woodshed! literal and figuratively!
Sorry to say I cannot remember what this building is, I took the picture last year and did not label it! DOH!
Another building on the property, so many interesting things to see there.
I'll post more pictures later if I can find any more interesting one's!

Church campground 1
I went to the Church campground for the weekend, it was AWESOME! Except for forgetting my sinus med’s and having to head back and pick them up! DOH! I COMPLETELY enjoyed being around friends and being able to kick back and play for a few hours.
I've been trying for two years to get a good picture of the bridge below, I did manage to get a nice one although the one below is not it.
There are a few buildings at the campground, this is the little chapel there, it can accomidate a few people if the cabins there are all full and there are still people that need a place to sleep.
This spot is SO nice! I enjoy just looking at it and of course getting a couple of pictures along the way.
I think I walked around the lake a couple of times this weekend taking pictures along the way just wondering what I might find around the next corner, I have other pictures of the cabins at the lake, they are small, only the size of a shed, but they work great as a place to sleep.
I will post more pictures later, at the moment all I want is a cup of coffee! YES!
Later for now!
