The Acer One!

The pictures belong to tnkgrl, that is where I found the GREAT instructions on how to tear this one down. http://www.flickr.com/photos/tnkgrl/
I talked quickly yesterday about tearing apart a perfectly good netbook, it was the only way to upgrade the ram in the system. You literally have to remove the Motherboard to install the ram module into its hidden socket, no bottom access.
This is as I said a "Netbook" no optical drive installed, it is not a replacement for a laptop or desktop computer, it is made for portability.
While looking for more information on this little netbook, I discovered there is quite the "moder" following with the Acer One's, blue tooth, touch screen, SSD to Pata mini-drive, SATA H.D. upgrades, 3G, Keyboard lights, lights shining on the keyboard.... CRIMANY! LOTS to look at with this little netbook.
There are some REALLY cool mods out there! got to keep an eye out for them!
Later all!
