Last minute ride and the question?

My brother and I went on a last minute ride today, the main point of the ride was to see the Weber dam, I hadn't been there in so long I could not remember the last time. It certainly was a nice ride there, but once we arrived we found ourselves on the hold side and not the spill side, that's where I wanted to be. After an hour (we made a couple of stops along the way) we arrived at the spill side, a much better picture was waiting!
On the way to the other side of the dam we came upon this AWESOME view, the picture does NOT do it justice! Four feet from the guard rail there was a near vertical 45 to 55 foot drop, SOOoo nice a view!
I HAD to stop and get a picture of this farms fences, the whole fence is comprised of old metal wagon wheels, some people may think this is just junk, I think it is art, so beautiful! the thought that went into its building? the structure flows down the road. I bet there are a thousand wagon wheels here, wonder how long it took to build?
I wonder what this was in its day? a mom and pop store? a place to sell things from the garden? either way it looked like a time capsule to me, I know one thing fro sure, from now on if I am traveling the back roads I will be bringing my camera!
My brother and I also stopped at a roadside park in Lyons, something point? a very cool little park that would be a nice place for a summer picnic!
And here is the question???? Does anyone remember Dick Evans and his on the road segment on TV8? I thought that was the COOLEST five minutes they had, after he passed they did away with that segment totally! I want to see it back in a year! I WANT to do it! what do you think? sound like a good idea to anyone?
I should head off for now, there are still a couple of things to get done yet before I go to bed, and WOO-HOO! a low of 56 tonight!
Later all!

Me!
