Starter troubles

My brother and I put a starter in his '96 Chevy S-10 today, it was the hardest I'd done to date.
1. Disconnect the battery
2. Disconnect the starter
3. Disconnect the hidden starter mount
4. Remove the inspection panel between the engine and transmission
5. Remove the two brackets mounted to the inspection panel
6. Disconnect the starter wires
7. Remove (FINALLY!) the starter
8. Do it all backwards!

In and out took nearly three hours, and I had the proper tools to do the job! GAK! what a TOTAL royal pain! LOL!
I'm NOT complaining mind you! at least it is not January and -10 degrees! WHOO! COLD!!
Project number 1005 done, project 1006 is in my driveway, my own car this time, it's slated for new brake pads and rotors.
Later all!

Tired Me!
